Dear Sensei, athletes, friends;
Greetings from the Colorado Rocky Mountains. On behalf of USA Karate and the International Martialarts Association, I would like to extend a personal invitation to you and your students to join us for the “23rd anniversary of Rocky Mountain International Championship” & USA Karate National Qualifier”.
The purpose of this championship is to bring together all the traditional Karate styles to the Rocky Mountain area and to provide a professional, well organized, memorable, and friendly environment for all the competitors and instructors.
The competition will be held on May 6, 2018, at Monarch High School, Louisville, Colorado, USA. In Addition, we will be hosting a referee seminar with certification on May 5, 2018 conduct by Mrs. Fariba Madani, a member of the USA Karate referee committee as well as WKF Referee Commission member (see the registration page for the detail information).
The New Rules of kumite competition will be conducted during the seminar and will be applicable at this championship. The presence of many national and international of USA Karate officials is another outstanding value to the championship. Due to the referee course opportunity, all officials will have the privilege to renew or upgrade their kumite referee license to and including “Referee C”.
Also, due tremendous demand of last year, we will be hosting 2 Kumite clinic conducted by USA Karate team member and world medalist at IMA Dojo HQ. Please log in to the competition web site for all detail and information.
